Entry into Slovenia / VISA:

The methods and conditions of entry into the Republic of Slovenia differ depending on whether the person entering the country is a citizen of a Member State of the European Union, or a third-country national.

Citizens of the European Union do not need a visa to enter the Republic of Slovenia. Entry is permitted based on a valid identity card or a valid passport, irrespective of the reason for entering the country.

If you’re not from an EEA country, you may need a visa, depending on which country you’re from. For information about visa requirements by country, please visit europa.eu. Detailed information about the entry requirements are available at gov.si.

It could take a significant amount of time to obtain a visa from the Embassy in your country. We therefore strongly recommend you complete the registration and payment well in advance to receive the application form for supporting documents for your visa in due time.
